I'm Sonneko.
Hello, I'm Sonneko, a high school student in Japan. I'm learning computer science and mathematics as a hobby, with a focus on both theory and practice.
I was honored to receive 8th place at the Science Koshien 2025 (National Final) and the Gold Award at the "Rear Biz" High School Student Entrepreneurship Grand Prix. I am also the founder of Aoristos, an independent student-led self-study organization.
My technical interests are broad, ranging from computer science and modern physics to analysis. I enjoy self-studying topics such as linear algebra, AI theory, compiler development, cognitive philosophy, programming language design, and decentralized applications (blockchain). I am often inspired by STEM YouTubers like 3Blue1Brown, Yobinori, and Lambda Tech, and I strive to combine theoretical learning with practical product development.
Recent Activities & OSS
I am active in the developer community and have contributed to OSS projects, such as developing the mdbook-sitemap backend. My primary languages are TypeScript and Rust, though I also use Python when appropriate. Currently, I am exploring Go, Zig, and Haskell.
I primarily use GitHub Codespaces on an iPad with a physical keyboard for my development environment. I often host my projects on GitHub Pages or Cloudflare, and use Vercel for SSR requirements.
